Chittagong- (UNB) – The indexes at Chittagong Stock Exchange finished lower yesterday (Tuesday) as the losers heavily dominated the gainers.

The CSE All Share Price Index lost 11.01 points or 0.79 percent to close at 1369.35 points from Monday’s 1380.36 points.

The Selective Index dropped by 14.15 points to close at 1387.91 points from 1402.07 points on Monday.

Of the 64 listed scripts traded yesterday, 51 declined, eight gained and six remain unchanged.

Some 452,737 shares and debentures valued at Tk 1.50 crore were transacted as against 1,024,151 shares worth Tk 1.99 crore on the previous trading day.

Aims First Guaranteed (115,000), Chic Tex Limited (100,500) and Fu Wang Food Limited (50,500) were among the volume leaders.

Market capitalisation stood at Tk 56.21 billion from Tk 56.66 billion on Monday.
